What is DiscipleNext?

DiscipleNext Christian Encounter is a community of faith seeking new ways of following Jesus Christ in today’s culture. It is an open-source, non-traditional assembly of Christians and those interested in the Christian Faith within the U.S. Army, including Soldiers, Army Contractors and Department of the Army Civilians.

We seek to faithfully worship and serve God, study, understand, and live out the Holy Scriptures and lead people into a vibrant saving relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

For the sake of the Body of Christ, we avoid the binding doctrinal statements, and force-fed religion that have marked the Church of the past and have forced Christians to be divided into factions and denominations.

We believe in one God, as revealed in creation and in the Old and New Testaments. We hold that Jesus is the Christ, the Lord and Savior of the world. We live by the Holy Spirit who in-dwells and conforms us to the image of God’s son.

DiscipleNext has no formal membership, and all are welcomed to participate. It is our hope that all who draw near, will draw near to God and some, as many as the Lord will call, will come to that knowledge of the one true God and of Jesus Christ which is eternal life.

DiscipleNext is led by Reverend Chad B. Davis

  1. CH Davis,
I really enjoy the DiscipleNext Devotional Classes and look forward to them every Tuesday and Thursday. It’s a true blessing to be able to freely hear and learn the Word of God among the body of believers (Army Soldiers, DA Civilians and Contractors) at the school house. Thank you for allowing God to use you in a mighty way to be a “shining light”.

    God Bless
    In the Masters Service
